The ceramic pie weights are small ceramic clay balls that is made by natural good grade ceramic clay,  without any powder, will not broekn and heat resistant upto 500 Deg. C. The ceramic pie weight is specially designed to weights down pie dought to keep bubbles from forming and avoid shrinking of pastry base.  Each balls could transfer the heat evenly.
